3M Scotchlok™ E-9C, E-9BM, E-9E and E-9Y Crimping Tools are designed to make the easiest connections. They are engineered to provide high mechanical advantage resulting in less operator fatigue. Each tool is designed to meet specific craftsperson needs. The E-9C tool is designed for fast, efficient butt splicing. It has an automatic cartridge feed (7-to-1 mechanical advantage and ratchet action) that allows the craftsperson to complete a crimp with one hand, freeing the other hand for wire handling. The E-9BM tool is designed for universal connector crimping. It is a heavy-duty tool that is capable of crimping all Scotchlok connectors. It has a parallel closing action and adjustable jaws, and features a 10-to-1 mechanical advantage that allows it to handle all wire gauges. The E-9E tool is a lightweight tool that is heavy on performance. It has a completely parallel closing action and a 4-to-1 mechanical advantage that make it one of the most versatile and easy-to-use crimping tools on the market.
